Yesterday I went down and met a TON of new adoptable dogs at BARCS.  Due to the heat, I only had 2 1/2 hours to get in as many photos as I could.  Thanks to the help of the other dedicated dog walkers – Tim, Kathy, Anita + Chris – I was able to photograph 27 dogs in that amount of time!  I think that’s a new record.  I had to make things quick, spending about half the time with the dogs that I usually do.  I was dehydrated and drenched in sweat when I got home, but it was so worth it.  So without further ado, here are 24 of the dogs currently available for foster or adoption at BARCS (two dogs that I photographed today – Layla + Fiona – were adopted already and the other one’s photos – Lupin – did not come out at all… but that’s okay, he’s already on the website!)

Please share these precious faces with anyone you know who may be able to foster or adopt one of these amazing dogs.  Also, please share these with any rescues you know of that may have room.  BARCS is overcrowded right now and really needs your help to get these dogs out of there.  Let’s get them to safety so they can have a second chance at the good life!
