In celebration on a new year, this week’s theme was newness. Now, in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you guys know that we just moved from Baltimore, MD to Charleston, SC. The transition has been hard, especially because I was unable to take any time off from working to get settled in. Our new apartment is much smaller than our old home, but I absolutely love it. It’s old, cozy, unique… everything you’d imagine to find in an old Charleston single home. But amongst the boxes and things just waiting to be unpacked, poor Camden just doesn’t know what to do with himself. He isn’t a fan of anything new and his big, awkward 100 lb. body just doesn’t have much room to navigate around our place. I took these photos of him on Sunday as we were unpacking – he found a small spot in our bedroom on the floor and he didn’t move from his safe spot all day. Poor guy.
Sorry I wasn’t able to get any more creative than that this week. I’m still digging out from under boxes while working long hours at a new job, trying to get up to speed. I promised my camera that I’d take her out this weekend for some quality time so hopefully next week’s images will be much more fun! Now please head on over to Steph Skardal’s beautiful blog to see her take on newness!
