When Heather, the owner of Crew La La, first contacted me about a year ago, I was so excited to meet her. I’ve been a huge fan of her company for a long time and as a fellow small business owner here in Charleston, I really connected with her. I LOVE collaborating with and supporting other local businesses! We talked about building a long-term relationship together and I have to say… the idea of photographing dogs sporting Crew La La’s adorable collars + leashes was enough to sell me! All four of my pups wear their Crew La La collars proudly, so it was a no-brainer for me. I fully support them and love their products… so it was a win-win!
Throughout January + February, we did 5 different photo shoots with seven different doggy models. It was such a blast collaborating with Heather and working closely to bring her vision to life. I was originally nervous since I had never done anything like this before and I was worried that my vision and her vision wouldn’t line up. I mean, art is so subjective after all. However, everything turned out wonderfully and I couldn’t be more excited to see the finished product! Here are some of my favorites from the first of many (I hope!) editorial shoots with Crew La La…
First up is Big Steve, an absolutely handsome + gentle 7 year old English Mastiff…
Next up is gorgeous Luna the Golden Retriever!
And this is Sully, an extremely dapper one year old French Bulldog. This guy is a star in his own right and has quite the Instagram following!
Then there are Louie + Jazzy, two adorable Shih Tzus who fit so well in that bike basket!
Meet Logan, the most handsome Golden Retriever I’ve seen in a long, long time. Just look at that face!!
Last but not least, Bella – who just happens to be Heather’s current foster pup! She is so cute and well-mannered. I’m still kind of shocked that she hasn’t been adopted yet!!
I had such a blast working with Heather and all of our amazing doggy models! I can’t wait for the next editorial shoot we do together!
