For over a year now, I’ve been searching for the perfect name for my priority sessions designed for senior pets + those that are terminally ill.  I couldn’t seem to come up with anything catchy or cute that really captured the emotion and importance of these sessions.  That is, until a few weeks ago when the perfect name came to me.  I am proud to introduce to you my Heart+Soul Sessions.

Ask anyone who has lost a pet what they treasure the most and many will say it’s the pictures of their pet.  I know for me, personally, I hold on dear to the photos of my childhood pets – Jesse, Bobby, Samantha, and Jasmine.  The film negatives are long gone, so those photos are even more precious to me.  It brings me back to my childhood and reminds me of the special bond I had with each of them.  Let’s face it – memories can fade over time, but printed images capture that special look in their eye, their goofy smile, that look of contentment as they bask in your company, and that sparkle of mischief that brings a smile to your face.  Images are so powerful in helping to remember the good times shared with our pets and that’s the reason why these sessions are so dear to me.

Life moves fast and often times, bad news comes without warning.  Many people are not given enough time to prepare themselves to say goodbye to their best friend.  That’s where I come in.  Senior pets and those diagnosed with a terminal illness will always receive priority scheduling with me.  I will reschedule other clients if needed to ensure that you and your pet are treated like royalty during this extremely difficult time.

I always advise my clients not to wait until the last minute to schedule a custom pet photography session.  The images we capture when your pet is feeling healthy + happy will be the ones that reflect them best.  However, if you find yourself in a situation where you need an emergency session, please don’t hesitate to call me.  I will do everything I can to make sure you have some beautiful images to remember your special pet by when it’s all said and done.
