The second wedding I shot this fall was that of Katie + Kyle.  Once again, the ever amazing Teri Pozniak of tPoz Photography graciously allowed me to tag along with her – thank you, Teri!  Since I was playing the role of  second shooter (versus being the third shooter – Teri was the sole photographer for this wedding), I decided I wanted to take a different approach to this wedding than I did for Annemarie + Jeremy’s wedding.  I used this as an opportunity to challenge myself by shooting wide open all day and without an external flash, which wasn’t the best idea in the world, but hey – I am still learning!  I really wanted the photos from this wedding to be a little more indicative of my own photography style and I think I definitely was able to accomplish that by taking what I learned from my previous wedding experience and apply it to this wedding.

We started the morning at Katie’s aunt + uncle’s home, where the girls were getting ready.  We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location to take photos of Katie and her closest girlfriends as she prepared for the biggest day of her life.  Katie was beaming the entire morning and it was easy to see that this was the day she had been waiting for forever.  Katie was the definition of cool + calm, just taking it all in + savoring each moment.  The early November ceremony took place at the gorgeous Church of the Immaculate Conception in Towson and was followed by a reception at the L’Hirondelle Club of Ruxton.  The weather was perfect with beautiful blue skies and warm fall foliage creating a stunning backdrop for this couple’s special day.

Thank you Katie + Kyle for allowing me to share your wedding day with you and your closest family + friends.  Wishing you many years of love and happiness together.
