For the past year, I have relied heavily on my Shootsac during weddings and up until recently it’s been great.  However, within the past month I’ve dropped three lenses on different occasions while switching lenses in and out of my Shootsac.  So, before I really do some major damage to my lenses, I decided I needed to find a better solution for carrying my gear.

I did some research and decided to go with a Kelly Moore bag.  I’ve heard nothing but good things from other photographers so I thought “what do I have to lose?”  Choosing a style was difficult because I really love about 3-4 of them.  I knew I needed something comparable in size to the Shootsac and not too huge – basically just something to carry extra lenses around in during a wedding.

So I went with the Classic and I absolutely LOVE it.  The bag is beautiful, well-made, and stands on its own so I can put it on the ground and it won’t tip over.  I love the two front pockets where I can stash my phone, keys, memory cards, extra batteries, etc. and there is a larger zippered pocket on the back where I can stash larger items like my flash.

Originally I thought I’d just use this bag for weddings, but it works great for pet sessions too!  It easily fits the lenses I need, my camera (with lens attached) and all of my squeaky toys + treats.  This is definitely my new go-to bag because it’s super functional and also really beautiful.  I highly recommend checking out the full line of Kelly Moore bags.  I love it so much that I want to eventually purchase the 2 Sues bag later this year :)
