A few weeks ago, I finally got to meet Molly‘s feline roommates.  Although their mom didn’t think we’d be able to get photos of all 4 of them, since 2 of them are notoriously shy, I worked my magic and was able to capture shots of them all!  So here are some of my favorites from our session.  First up, Rosie – a beautiful grey tabby who was all too willing to model for the camera…

And then there was Julio, who was extremely outgoing and LOVED the cat toys I brought.  I just adore his freckled nose…

Cecil took a little longer to warm up to me, but towards the end of the session, he decided to work it for me.  You can see his change in attitude from the first picture, where I think he’s actually giving me the evil eye, to the last picture… and boy, did he love my camera bags!

Chloe was probably the least thrilled with me, but somehow I was able to grab some shots of her outside with my long lens.  I learned a long time ago that the 70-200 lens comes in really handy with shy or fearful pets…

I had so much fun hanging out with the gang.  Cats are always so much fun to photograph because they really have such strong personalities and you really can’t make a cat do anything it doesn’t want to.  It’s a fun challenge and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Rosie, Julio, Cecil + Chloe!
