This week’s theme for The Bloom Forum’s 52 Project was thankful. As I reflect on 2011, I realize that I have a lot to be thankful for. First and foremost, I am thankful for my family. My husband Brian has been there for me throughout a rough year full of traumatic events, illness and, most importantly, the start up of my photography business. My kids, my bubbas – Camden + Brady – have served as wonderful companions and constant inspiration for my photography business as well. I am so thankful for my family and for the future that lies ahead of us in Charleston, South Carolina. I took this image yesterday on Thanksgiving morning at Folly Beach, which is one of our favorite places in Charleston. I am thankful to be able to capture this moment in time so we can look back and remember the feeling of anticipation and excitement… to remember what it felt like to be on the cusp of something wonderful. I am thankful for this moment. Oh and I’m very thankful for my new Canon 24mm 1.4L lens that I used for this photo 😛
Now please go check out the amazingly talented Hope Toliver’s blog to see her take on this week’s theme. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and please come back next week to see what we’ll be up to. Happy Friday!
